Next.js hosting, with server rendering built in

Deploy a Next.js app from your AI tool, GitHub or a zip. We build it with next build and run it with next start, so pages render on the server just as they do on your computer.

We look for
next in your package.json
Then
We install, run your build script, then start your app with your start script on Node 24.
You need
A build script and a start script.

package.json

{
  "scripts": {
    "build": "next build",
    "start": "next start"
  }
}

Why host Next.js on Cloudzyro

  • Server rendering and API routes

    Your app runs as a real Node.js server, not a cut-down function, so route handlers and server components work as written.

  • Static files from the edge

    Cloudflare serves your images, CSS and JavaScript from close to your visitors, and the cache is cleared every time a version goes live.

  • Keys in environment variables

    Add your Stripe, Supabase or API keys in the console and lock the sensitive ones so nobody sees them again.

  • Every version kept

    Every deploy is kept. Restore an earlier one in a click if a release goes wrong.

Put your Next.js project online your way

Pick whichever suits you. Every deploy becomes a version you can restore.

  • From your AI tool

    Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex to put your Next.js project online with Cloudzyro.

    Connect your AI tool
  • From Git

    Connect GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or any Git host. Every push to your branch goes live.

    Read the Git guide
  • Upload a folder

    Drop in your project folder or a zip. We leave out node_modules and build it ourselves.

Questions about Next.js hosting

Do I need a Dockerfile or a special config?
No. We find Next.js in your package.json and build and run it for you. You only need the usual build and start scripts.
Does next start run as a long-lived server?
Yes. Your app runs continuously, with its own memory and CPU, rather than starting up for each request.
Which Node.js version do you use?
Node 24 by default. Set engines.node in package.json or add an .nvmrc file and we use that version instead.
Can my app save files, like uploads?
Files written while your app runs are reset on every deploy or restore, so keep data in a database such as Supabase or Neon. The console warns you if a version saves data to its own files.
Does my site sleep when it's quiet?
No. Sites never sleep, on the free plan too, so the first visitor after a quiet week gets an instant answer.
