How to put a site you built with Claude online
Last updated
Built a site with Claude or Claude Code? Put it online with your own address in a few minutes, then update it by asking Claude.
1. What you need
Your site's folder, with an index.html or a package.json at the top. That's what Claude makes for most sites and apps.
A free Cloudzyro account. The Launch plan is free, business use included, so you can try all of this without paying.
Claude on the web or the desktop app, or Claude Code in a terminal.
2. Connect Cloudzyro to Claude
You do this once. After that, Claude can put any of your sites online.
- In Claude, open Cloudzyro in the connector directory at claude.ai/directory/cloudzyro and connect it.
- When Claude asks, sign in to Cloudzyro, choose your workspace and select Allow.
In Claude Code, add Cloudzyro from a terminal, then sign in. Your browser opens so you can choose your workspace and select Allow.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user cloudzyro https://api.cloudzyro.com/mcp
claude mcp login cloudzyroThere are no keys to copy. Claude can only work in the workspace you chose, and it can never see your secrets, delete a site or change your plan.
3. Ask Claude to put it online
In the chat, or in Claude Code in your site's folder, ask: “Put this site online with Cloudzyro.”
Claude picks an address, sends the files and follows the build. When it's done, it tells you the address, like my-bakery.cloudzyro.app. Once the build starts, it usually takes about a minute.
4. Add your own domain
Your own domain is free on every plan, and the cloudzyro.app address keeps working too.
- In the console, open your site and go to its Domains tab.
- Type the address visitors will use, such as
www.example.com, and select Add domain. - At your DNS provider, add a CNAME record:
wwwpointing todomains.cloudzyro.app. - To send visitors who type
example.comto the www address, add an A record for the bare domain pointing to173.234.137.167.
It's usually live within 5 to 15 minutes, with HTTPS set up for you. If you buy the domain from us, we add the records ourselves.
5. Update it later
Ask Claude for changes as usual, then ask it to deploy again, for example: “Deploy with the message New pricing page.”
Every deploy becomes a version. If a change goes wrong, ask: “Restore the previous version.” Launch keeps your last 5 versions and Boost keeps 10.
6. If a deploy fails
Your live site stays as it was. Claude gets the reason and a suggested fix, so you can ask it to fix the problem and deploy again.
The common causes, like a missing start script or the wrong port, are explained in the docs under Fix a failed deploy.
