How Bolt.new's pricing works: the Free, Pro, Teams and Enterprise plans, monthly tokens and rollover, Bolt hosting limits and worked monthly examples.

1. Bolt's plans at a glance

Bolt measures the AI's work in tokens, and each plan includes a monthly allowance. Figures from Bolt's pricing page and help center, checked on November 1, 2026. Paid prices have tax added.

  • Free: $0. 1 million tokens a month, up to 300,000 a day.
  • Pro: $25 a month billed monthly, with 10 million tokens. Bigger tiers include more tokens.
  • Teams: $30 per member a month billed monthly, starting at 10 million tokens per member.
  • Enterprise: a custom annual contract, billed by consumption.

Annual billing saves up to 28%. Bolt's help center gives these examples: Pro with 10 million tokens is $216 a year, and Pro with 26 million tokens is $540 a year. Monthly, its examples show $50 for 26 million tokens and $100 for 55 million.

2. What each plan includes

Free includes public and private projects, unlimited databases, website hosting on a bolt.host address with Bolt branding, and 10 MB file uploads.

Pro removes the daily limit and the branding, and adds custom domains, token rollover, the newest AI models, connectors and MCPs, SEO boosting, 100 MB uploads and email support.

Teams adds central billing, team access management, admin controls, organization-wide sharing, team templates, private npm registries, SSO and priority support.

Enterprise adds audit logs, SOC 2, dedicated infrastructure, data retention policies, a dedicated account manager and 24/7 support.

3. How tokens are billed

Bolt uses tokens whenever it reads your prompts and project files, plans or writes code. Free plan tokens reset on the 1st of each month. Paid plan tokens reset on your renewal date.

On a paid plan, unused tokens roll over and stay valid for two months from the start of the billing cycle you got them in. Older tokens are used first. If you cancel, you lose access to all tokens, rollover included, at the end of the cycle, though unexpired ones come back if you subscribe again before they lapse.

On the highest monthly Pro tier or any annual Pro plan, you can buy token reloads, which don't expire. The price per reload depends on your plan.

4. Hosting on Bolt

Bolt Cloud hosting limits apply to your whole account, not each project:

  • Free: 10 GB of bandwidth and 333,333 requests a month, a hard limit. Bolt says that's typically 10,000 to 15,000 visits. Past it, your sites go offline until the next cycle.
  • Pro: 30 GB of bandwidth and 1 million requests a month, often 100,000 or more visits. You can turn on pay-as-you-go data up to a spending cap you set, to keep sites online.

Pro hosting is included with every paid plan.

5. Changing plans

Upgrading on a monthly plan takes effect at once. You pay the difference between the two plans, keep your unused tokens and get the difference in tokens straight away. Bolt's own example: moving from the $50 plan (26 million tokens) to the $100 plan (55 million) partway through January costs $50 and adds 29 million tokens.

Upgrading an annual plan is charged pro rata for the whole months left in the year, at the new plan's price.

Downgrading takes effect at your next renewal. On a monthly plan that's within a month; on an annual plan it can be up to a year away.

Cancelling keeps your plan and tokens until the end of the paid period, then drops you to the free tier.

6. Worked examples

  • A weekend project: Free, $0, as long as you stay within 300,000 tokens a day and the site's traffic stays under the free limits.
  • A site on your own domain: Pro at $25 a month, or $216 a year with 10 million tokens a month.
  • A team of 3: $90 a month on Teams, with 10 million tokens per member.
  • A growing site on Pro: if it passes 30 GB of bandwidth in a month, it stays online only with pay-as-you-go data turned on.

7. Limits worth knowing

  • The Free plan's daily limit is 300,000 tokens, and unused daily tokens don't carry over.
  • Hosting limits are shared by every site on your account.
  • Downgrading an annual plan only takes effect at your next renewal, which could be up to a year away.
  • Free sites show a Made in Bolt badge.

8. How to keep your Bolt costs down

  • Plan first with Plan Mode, so Bolt doesn't build the wrong thing and rebuild it.
  • Keep project context small. Bolt reads your files on every prompt, and bigger projects use more tokens.
  • Make small direct edits yourself in Code view, which uses no tokens.
  • Use rollover tokens within their two months.

9. Where Cloudzyro fits

Bolt is quick for building. To host what you build with more room, push the project to GitHub or download a zip and deploy it on Cloudzyro. The free Launch plan includes 100 GB of traffic and custom domains, and a site past its allowance is slowed, never taken offline. Boost is $20 a month per site with 1 TB of traffic.
