How Replit's pricing works: the Starter, Core, Pro and Enterprise plans, monthly credits, effort-based Agent pricing and what publishing an app costs.
1. Replit's plans at a glance
Replit charges a monthly plan fee that comes with credits, then takes AI use, publishing and databases out of those credits before billing anything extra. Figures from Replit's pricing page and docs, checked on November 1, 2026. Prices may have tax added.
- Starter: free. Daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, monthly cloud credits, and one published app that goes down after 30 days.
- Core: $20 a month, or $18 a month billed annually.
- Pro: $100 a month, or $90 a month billed annually. Higher tiers billed annually are $215, $425, $825 and $2,000 a month, with more credits each.
- Enterprise: custom pricing.
2. What each plan includes
Starter gives you Agent chat and Free Mode with a daily cap, Lite build for quick edits, Design Canvas and one published app with a Made with Replit badge. Full build, Plan Mode, connectors and more published apps need Core.
Core includes up to 30 hours of chat and up to 60 projects on Free Mode, $20 of monthly credits toward more powerful models, unlimited published apps, Plan Mode, connectors, up to 5 builders and one background task at a time. You can remove the badge.
Pro adds more Free Mode usage, $100 of monthly credits, up to 15 builders with pooled credits, up to 10 background tasks at once, priority support, and database recovery up to 28 days back instead of 7. Unused Pro credits roll over for two months.
Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM, audit logs, advanced privacy controls and single-tenant options.
3. How Agent usage is billed
Free Mode handles everyday Agent work at no extra cost within its allowance. For harder work you can switch to Power or Max mode, which are paid. Paid work uses effort-based pricing: Agent bundles each request into one checkpoint, and a small fix costs less than a full feature. Replit asks for confirmation before a paid action starts.
When Agent uses third-party AI services behind the scenes, such as Claude or Gemini, Replit bills them at the provider's public API rate from your credits.
4. What publishing and databases cost
Publishing costs come out of your monthly credits first, and you only pay extra once they're used up. The rates after Replit's August 2026 price cut:
- Static: hosting free, data transfer $0.05 per GB
- Autoscale: a small monthly base fee, plus $0.60 per million compute units and $0.40 per million requests. One CPU second is 18 units and one GB of memory for a second is 2 units. The app goes idle after 15 minutes without traffic.
- Reserved VM (always on): $15 a month for 0.5 vCPU and 2 GB shared; dedicated from $35 a month for 1 vCPU and 4 GB, $50 for 2 vCPUs and 8 GB, $130 for 4 vCPUs and 16 GB
- Outbound data transfer: $0.05 per GiB, with 100 GiB a month included on Core
- Production Postgres: $0.16 per compute hour while active, and $0.35 per GiB a month of storage. Development databases are free.
5. Worked examples
- Trying Replit out: Starter, $0, with one published app you republish every 30 days.
- A small business site on Autoscale: Replit's own example, 75,000 requests a month, comes to about $2.39, which fits inside Core's monthly credits.
- An always-on app: a 0.5 vCPU Reserved VM is $15 a month. On Core it comes out of your credits first, but the same credits also pay for paid Agent work, so a busy building month can push you over.
- A team of 10: Core only allows 5 builders, so it's Pro, from $100 a month, with credits shared across the team.
6. Limits worth knowing
- The free published app goes down after 30 days and shows a Made with Replit badge.
- Starter production databases are limited to 1 GiB; paid plans allow 100 GiB per database.
- Core's unused credits don't roll over. Pro's roll over for two months.
- Autoscale apps go idle after 15 minutes without traffic and start again on the next request.
7. How to keep your Replit bill down
- Do as much as you can in Free Mode, and use Plan Mode to agree the work before Agent builds it.
- Set usage alerts and a budget limit in Settings, under Billing.
- Publish static sites as Static, which has no compute charge.
- Pick Autoscale for apps with quiet periods and a Reserved VM only when the app must stay warm.
8. Where Cloudzyro fits
Replit is a good place to build. If you'd rather host what you build somewhere with a flat price, push your Replit app to GitHub or download it as a zip and deploy it on Cloudzyro. Launch is free and never sleeps, with 1 CPU, 512 MB of memory and 100 GB of traffic. Boost is $20 a month per site with 2 CPUs, 2 GB and 1 TB, and traffic is never charged extra. See Build with Replit.
