Why people look for a Netlify alternative
Netlify now bills usage in credits. On the free plan they're a hard limit: when they run out, every project on the account is paused until the next month.
What to compare
What happens when a site goes over its allowance, whether the free plan allows business use, whether team members cost extra, and whether your app can run as a real server.
Vercel
Hobby is free for personal, non-commercial use and stops at 100 GB of transfer. Pro is $20 a month per developer seat, with 1 TB included, then from $0.15 per GB.
Render
Pro is $25 a month flat plus compute, and extra bandwidth is $0.15 per GB. Free web services spin down when quiet.
Railway
Plans include usage ($5 on Hobby, $20 on Pro), then you pay for CPU, memory and traffic as you use them.
Cloudzyro
A site over its allowance is slowed down for the rest of the month, never paused and never charged extra. Launch is free with business use included, and Boost is $20 a month per site with 1 TB of traffic and your team included.
Moving from Netlify
Static sites and Vite, React and Astro builds deploy as they are. Connect your Git repository or upload your folder, then point your domain. See Cloudzyro vs Netlify for the details.
