The short answer
Fly.io and Railway both bill what you use by the second. Fly.io has no monthly plan and prices each Machine by size and region, with apps that can run in many regions. Railway adds a small monthly plan that includes the same amount of usage, and makes it easy to run several services and databases side by side. Cloudzyro is a third option: a flat price per site with compute and traffic included.
Free plans
Fly.io has no free tier for new organizations; new accounts get a trial of up to 2 hours of Machine runtime or 7 days. Railway gives a 30-day trial with $5 of credit, then $1 of usage a month on its free plan. Cloudzyro's Launch plan is free with business use allowed, and sites never sleep.
What an app costs
On Fly.io, a 256 MB shared Machine running all month is $2.19 per 30 days in Ashburn or Secaucus, 512 MB is $3.69 and 1 GB is $6.70 in Ashburn, with no platform fee. On Railway, Hobby is $5 a month including $5 of usage, then about $20 a month per vCPU and $10 per GB of memory. For a very small app, both can come in at a few dollars a month.
On Cloudzyro, Boost is $20 a month per site with 2 CPUs, 2 GB of memory and 1 TB of traffic included, and the price doesn't move with how busy the month was.
Traffic and busy months
Fly.io charges $0.02 per GB of outbound traffic in North America and Europe and more in other regions. Railway charges $0.05 per GB. On both, a busier month means a bigger bill. Cloudzyro never charges for traffic: a site past its allowance is slowed for the rest of the month and stays online.
Which should you choose?
Choose Fly.io if you want your app running close to users in several regions and like controlling each Machine. Choose Railway if you want services, workers and databases side by side in one project with a simple dashboard. Choose Cloudzyro if you want your website or web app always on at one flat price per site, deployed from your AI tool, Git or a zip.
