The short answer

Both host frontends and server-rendered apps, such as Next.js, from your Git repository. Vercel charges $20 a month per developer seat on Pro, with generous included usage. Amplify Hosting has no seat charges and bills every build minute, GB and request. Cloudzyro is a third option at a flat price per site.

Free plans

Vercel Hobby is free for personal, non-commercial use, with 100 GB of transfer and 1 million CDN requests a month, and it can't buy more.

Amplify Hosting's free tier covers 1,000 build minutes, 5 GB stored, 15 GB served, 500,000 server-rendered requests and 100 GB-hours of rendering a month. AWS also gives new customers up to $200 in Free Tier credits, with a free plan that lasts 6 months.

Cloudzyro Launch is free with business use allowed, 100 GB of traffic a month, and sites that never sleep.

Prices beyond the free plan

Vercel Pro is $20 a month per developer seat, with a $20 usage credit, 1 TB of transfer and 10 million CDN requests included, then from $0.15 per GB.

Amplify charges $0.01 per build minute, $0.023 per GB stored each month, $0.15 per GB served, $0.30 per million server-rendered requests and $0.20 per GB-hour of rendering. Its firewall is $15 a month per app, plus AWS WAF costs.

Cloudzyro Boost is $20 a month per site, with 2 CPUs, 2 GB of memory and 1 TB of traffic included, and your whole team.

Traffic and busy months

Both bill $0.15 per GB once you're past what's included, but Vercel Pro includes 1 TB and Amplify's free tier 15 GB. A 500 GB month on Amplify is about $72.75 in data served after the free 15 GB; on Vercel Pro it's within the included 1 TB. Cloudzyro never charges for traffic: a site past its allowance is slowed for the rest of the month and stays online.

Which should you choose?

Choose Vercel if you want its platform features and a big included allowance, and per-seat pricing suits your team. Choose AWS Amplify if you already use AWS, want no seat charges, and are comfortable paying for each minute, GB and request. Choose Cloudzyro if you want a flat price per site, a free plan for business use, and a bill that doesn't move with traffic.
